Four Tips to Run a Successful Business

If your business is not improving, analyze the customer’s feedback and their pain points.

How to do it? Simple, follow these steps

  1. Believe in your demographic data. If you don’t have one, please start collecting it and take a data scientist’s help in finding the most important features of your business and its correlation with customer demographic information.
  2. Understand customer emotion: It is a famous idiom, “the customer is always right.” Data science can be a great support for your business to analyze the customer reviews, feedback, survey, call record to understand the sentiment (i.e. happy, sad, frustrated, angry, surprise) of the customer. Fortunately, there are many data science tools available to analyze the sentiment of your customer.
  3. Study call duration and feedback: If the customer calls for a long period of time, consider listening to the call and find out the source of grievance. If you find a specific pattern in your long call, learn from your past mistake, and consider changing your business strategy. You can also extract information by backtracking the specific segment (negative or positive) of the customer’s feedback.
  4. Customer favorite channel: Try to collect customer reviews or feedback from all possible channels such as Facebook, Twitter, newspaper, television, survey, voice calls, youtube reviews, etc, so that you learn where to connect with the specific segment of customers, and serve better.
